It's very tough to leave job and to carry on your dreams

From the time you decided that you want to leave the high paid job and comfort to pursue your dreams, your life isn't yours. One side you plan to leave the job and your manager won't let you go and tries all possible solutions to retain. On the other side you get support for your dreams one by one and your mind completely blocks.

You will get a project after hard trial and you don't have enough time to focus on. You reach out to near and dear who can help, and they are busy with their personal and professional life.

The greatest confusion times of life

In my life, the two greatest confusion times are, one at the age of 20 and another at 30. At 20 it's about career and at 30 it's about life. I hope many face the same situations in their life, particularly in men' life.
After completing my graduation in B. Com, I was confused about my long career path what to choose. I was confused about what I wanted. I was confused about who I am. But, there is one thing I was sure, I.e., I know what I don't want, later which helped me in finding what I want. I have habit of reading almost everything thing, nothing specific. Newspapers to magazines,  novels to biographies. Reading helped me to know who I am, what are the latest trends, careers I can choose. Slowly, my confusion was washing away, getting to know what steps to be taken. The biggest decision I had to take once I know what I wanted was, move out of my comfort zones I.e., move from my home town and leave the place where I spent my whole child and young age. I dared and I am successful in my choosen career and almost everything I got what I wanted.
Now I am at the second stage of confusion. I am very much confused now. Should I try for out of India or start a start up or to marry and settle.career wise I have two things in pending. One to work out of India and explore the world, two to start up my own. I can't do both, though I am intrested. Late marriages are not recommended at the same time I can't skip my goals. What to do......

Make Your Own Identity

We all are born a like. We all have same no of eyes, nose, mouth, hands, legs, heart and brain. On an average life gives us 60 yrs. to make our own identity. Everybody have their own life that too one and only one and they have to live with it. Our mind will recall Bill Gates when we talk about Computer, we recall Steve Jobs when we talk about iPhone, APJ Kalam when we talk about long white hair or nuclear. Let’s give an opportunity to ourselves to look into what’s our own identity, the way we dress, our hairstyle, our accessories, our work.

How can you find your own identity? Let’s go and look at you in the mirror. Find out what is different in you from the one beside you. Some wear watch on the right side. Some wear bracelet. Some wear neck chain half visible and half hidden inside the collar. Once you find the difference concentrate on those and start building your own identity. In the process of building your own identity if anybody or anything stops such as your boss stops you when you have long hair let’s explain him, after all boss wants good productivity from you not the short or long hair. If you are satisfied with your job/work you can give better productivity, then which boss is going to ask about long or short hair? Think about it.

Leadership styles and its application

Leadership style is the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people. The three major styles of leadership are

• Authoritarian or autocratic
• Participative or democratic
• Delegative or Free Reign

Authoritarian [I want both of you to. . .]

This style is used when leaders tell their employees what they want done and how they want it accomplished, without getting the advice of their followers. Some of the appropriate conditions to use it is when you have all the information to solve the problem, you are short on time, and your employees are well motivated.

Participative [Let's work together to solve this. . .]

This style involves the leader including one or more employees in the decision making process (determining what to do and how to do it). However, the leader maintains the final decision making authority. This is normally used when you have part of the information, and your employees have other parts. Note that a leader is not expected to know everything — this is why you employ knowledgeable and skillful employees.

Delegative [You two take care of the problem while I go. . .]

In this style, the leader allows the employees to make the decisions. However, the leader is still responsible for the decisions that are made. This is used when employees are able to analyze the situation and determine what needs to be done and how to do it. You cannot do everything! You must set priorities and delegate certain tasks.

Hiring Process Should Be Changed [Tata Consultancy Services]

I am very disappointed with the hiring process which some IT companies TCS [Tata Consultancy Services] to name one, follow even in this era of skill based jobs. There has to be a revolution, only a Technical Graduate is eligible for an entry into IT Company. At the end of the day the candidate's current/present knowledge is 100% required for a requirement.

I have seen many people of young age [25-30], who are dull, calm and quite. Its almost, all might have settled in their jobs. Where are those days in college days when used to jump and run behind the buses, to reach college [not certainly to study] but for one or the other reasons. I have seen people come to office with dull faces, not energetic, clothes without ironed, no hi no wishes to colleagues simply come and sit, will start opening the Company E-mail box. If any scolding from BOSS then they will say "shit!!! I have done my B Tech/B Com etc.., that's why I am working under him, wait BOSS wait just after 3 years I will be You".

People should compare his/her past with present. One should think, are we in the same position now for which one wanted to have, before one year. Are we in the dream job or work for which we were dreaming of before one year.
Have you ever thought that your development [IT Guys]/Testing will watch the entire world? Had you crazy about this any time?
If you ask a singer or a dancer, whats the best performance you ever made since, he does have an answer.
Had you ask yourself that did I have any such best performances in my personal or professional life?
Yes I agree there are some discrepancies, we often here this sentence "My junior got pay hike, but not me, because he is "Chamcha" to the BOSS". Remember no body will pay anybody freely, unless he/she does have ability to get it. Did you analyze this any time, are we really capable of things to work? How many times have you said "NO" to your boss? Is there any day anybody said "NO" to the BOSS?
Why people don't realize that I am "xxxx,...................." and I have my own life, my own decisions.

Customer Is God To Customer Is Also God

Till now from footpath business man to business giants all will follow only one rule when it comes to "Customer Service" i.e., "Customer Is God". If customer is God then who are we, are we slave to him? Aren't we working hard to fulfill his needs? We get frustrations, we get tentions, we get make good/services to deliver to customer on time. Due to fact that only because of he is paying money to us "He Is God?". There should be a revolution from "Customer Is God" to "Customer Is Also God".

I am into IT business from couple of years. let me share my experience. If we don't deliver the things  on time, my client says you haven't delivered the things on time, hence I would reduce the payment.

If the same thing happens from his side lets say suppose Payment is delayed if we charge anything extra he says no you can't. Even more of times we compromise its a bit delay it okay. But customer won't.

I am trying my level of contribution to change this. I want more and more people to join me lets create this revolution from "Customer Is God" to "Customer Is Also God".
