I am very disappointed with the hiring process which some IT companies TCS [Tata Consultancy Services] to name one, follow even in this era of skill based jobs. There has to be a revolution, only a Technical Graduate is eligible for an entry into IT Company. At the end of the day the candidate's current/present knowledge is 100% required for a requirement.

I am writing this with a bad feeling, recently I got a call from TCS [Tata Consultancy Services] who took my resume from Naukri. It means that they have seen my resume in which I mentioned my Qualification details clearly, still I got a call, means my CV matches to their requirement. Ok Fine!!!!!!!
In a call when I said I am a B.Com graduate, the HR person says after a disucssion of 15 minutes, sorry Surya we don't consider B.Com as a highest qualification. This is not expected from a company like TCS [Tata Consultancy Services]. This happend today itself.
A B. Com with the required skill is worth more than a M.Tech without required skill.
